I live in the great Central Valley of California. I am an admirer of Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Jack, London, James Lee Burke, and Michael Connelly. I like science fiction and authors such as Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, and Robert Heinlein. I believe the arts are one of the most unifying and illuminating aspects of being human. The arts live on while political and economic systems die. Literature makes us laugh, makes us cry, and makes us see the world in a whole different way.
