It wasn’t so much where Rhiannon was born, but what happened after that. Alaska was cold, so she moved south. Although Key Largo was good and the company better, not much could be made on whale-watching and slinging whiskey. With a degree in marine biology, she served research time on Cousteau’s Calypso until its 1996 sinking in the port of Singapore. Out of a job and stranded, she found work with a dashing archeologist in environmental preservation efforts of Sri Lankan jungle habitats. Life soon found her in Europe, living in Prague. But the U.S. beckoned, trapping her with the worst snowstorm in 10 years. So, she took up writing.
