My true love of life is natural history and geology, which finds its way into the majority of my work. I set out in life to be a geologist, and I acquired much education in the field. I never found a career in it, but I've continued to pursue higher learning in the field. I am originally from Northern California, but currently I reside near Fairbanks Alaska.
