Janice Windle
I am a British poet, artist and teacher, living in Guildford, Surrey, England, with my partner, Dónall, also a poet. I trained as a fine artist at the Central School of Art, London, and continue to paint and market my work. In the 1980's I lived in South-East Asia as an expatriate wife and though I didn't enjoy the role I saw and learned a great deal there. My partner and I collaborate on many writing and performing projects. Our latest venture involves organising a poetry performance and open mic in Guildford, which is proving very successful in encouraging local writers and poets to read their work in public..
