I proudly served 23 years in the U.S. Navy. My bride and I raised 6 children. We've lived in 35 different homes in 7 states and 1 foreign country. We now live in MA where my avocation is focused on backyard organic vegetable and flower gardening, a practice I began when I caught my children eating peas directly from my first garden while living in the DC area. Post-Navy, I've worked as a software programmer, a computer instructor at a NC community college, and as an national health organization online newsletter editor. I'm a volunteer computer instructor for seniors and participate in a local writers group.
