Oh God! Don't we all want to write "The Great American Novel"? I'm no different than anyone else here, I write short stories and poems and am trying to complete a novel-length first draft. I like feedback, but I like it respectfully. I don't need to make myself feel better by beating up your writing and I hope that you can provide me that same courtesy.
