Jay Stix is an illustrator fish fresh out of the school bowl and she's still a bit shell shocked about it. She finds inspiration and solace in a wide range of authors, including Roald Dahl, John Irving and Neil Gaiman. She finds humor in the ironic, the satirical and the cynical, and she believes that imagery and writing are equal arts, keeping each other in perfect balance. Her artwork can be found online at her brand new site, est. 18 October 2007: www.j-rose.com
