J. Nixon
This is James Nixon. He does comedy other places. Now he's doing comedy here. Writing and performing. Also an as yet unpublished member of the Poetworks Workshop run by Barbara Helfgott Hyett.The product of a fundamentalist Christian family in rural Texas, James finds himself living in the bleeding heart of liberal, academic Boston. His comedy and writing explores the inherent hypocrisy in our society.Trained as a laywer, a Buddhist, a martial arts expert, and Toyota salesman, James feels equally uncomfortable raising sheep or making people laugh. You might catch James on-stage around New England
