I have enjoyed a special interest in the written word since I was a child of eight and have aspired to write ever since. I enjoy writing both poetry and prose; fictional prose, yet non-fiction poetry. I run my own website, http://www.doriennesmith.com, on which I am just beginning to post my writings. I have just written my first novel which I plan to post here and there. It is not exactly publishable due to its content, but I aspire to continue writing and seek to be published someday.
