I'm a 36 year old mother of two teens, who has been happily married for over 15 years. I've been writing short stories and poetry since the age of 14, and I am happy to say that my daughter, who is 14 now is following in my footsteps. She has won a national poetry contest, as well as writes on other sites like this. It was at her encouragement that I joined writing.com, and I'm really hoping that this will be a good experience for me to expand my writing skills.
