Born in 29. Became a doctor in 53 and joined Pakistan Army. In 57 came to USA and practiced medicine in USA and Canada. Started writting Urdu poetry at age 65 and translated the Persian ghazals of Khusro, Hafiz, Ghalib and Iqbal in Urdu verse. My own Urdu odes were also published titled as Sham e Gharib. Started writing English poetry at age 78 and my books of English poetry about Hafiz, Khusro, Ghalib, and Faiz are now available in paper, electronic and audio forms all over the world and have all becomes top sellers in their own categories. Indeed my book, "Hafiz, the Voice of God" is now one of the most popular books of English poetry.
