With the publishing of her first poem in Poetry.com's contest, her talent has begun to soar. After the publishing of her first poem "Time", she had two more published-"I Wish I Had Said..."and "The Phoenix"-in the same on-line contest. Finally, in the school year of 2001-2002, Kittie won first place in the Young Author's Contest in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. Following her life-long dream, Kittie has written several novel-length stories that, one day, may lead to a publishing contract.
