I am an awakened American women, a mother of five, living on 5 acres in a dieing town. I have a $50,000 degree (still in deferment), am unemployed for the first time, and have started paying attention to more than just my day to day life. Writing has been a therapy, good or bad, it has allowed me to express feelings I otherwise would not, explore theories, or just escape. A coping mechanism that I would love to develop into more.
