I am Laura Kearney. I live in Illinois. I am married and have 3 children, two of which are adults and (mostly) flying free. I used to work in food and janitorial services. Three years ago I developed Crohn's Disease, which canceled out any physical jobs. I'm now going back to school full time for an English major. My genres are fantasy and adventure, although I am not opposed to crossing over into other things. I have taken two correspondence courses from Long Ridge Writer's Group and The Institute of Children's Literature. I have one book self-published with Xlibris called The Crystal Journey. I also like cooking, gardening and knitting.
