My favorite writers are Bob Dylan, Derek Webb, Conor Oberst, Sufjan Stevens, C.S. Lewis, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Leo Tolstoy and Annie Dillard. I like them because they don't waste words. They express themselves uniquely while shedding light on the 'human condition,' as people trapped in time and space, trying to make sense of a world they didn't choose to be born into. I could never write like them, but I do hope to one day be able to express myself as openly, honestly and uniquely as they do.
