The first time I ever wrote a poem I was in fifth grade. The teacher told me to stay after class to discuss it. I thought maybe she was going to praise me instead she asked me what book I copied it from. I think it was at that moment I lost interest in poetry. But over the last few years I have been putting words together again. My grammar is not good but I try. Hope something I post may touch someone ands leave a mark on the soul.
