I have always had a love of the written word since I was a small child. In high school my teachers encouraged my writing, and I ended up majoring in journalism in college. My career path after college took me in the direction of marketing and public affairs, where I do get to use my writing skills often, but not always in the creative way I might choose. This year I am determined to write the things that I want to share and I am pleased to have found this forum for encouraging my creativity.
