I disliked english class as a child. I hated grammer and could never figure out what to write about for creative writing. Double ditto for the ninth grade; I got my first 'D' in English. However, in the tenth grade I lucked out with a teacher who could reach each student. No way was I hooked, but I did learn how to use a semi-colon; properly, I hope.
