I write because I must and have done this for many years. In the beginning it was to keep my mind busy, learning new ways to express myself, and now it is a habit that I enjoy. I write every day, or truth be told, I usually write at night when no one is awake to intrude upon the process. I am a true insomniac and if not writing, I read far into the night. Reading and writing help to keep me sane...I hope.
