Writing is a joy. My mind was always creating some new adventure in some distant place or far off time when I was young. It wasn't until I was in High School that a teacher recognized my gift and began pulling it out of me. It has been years and I haven't used it much for anything except making training manuals, writing speeches and articles. I now have several stories I've been working on and off for a couple years. I will put some short stories on here shortly and see what you think.
