Since the day I wrote my first poem in the sixth grade, I knew writing was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was already a big reader, but I began getting more into poetry. Soon, I had a top five poets list: Sylvia Plath, Maya Angelou, Emily Dickinson, Anne Sexton, John Donne. I had (still have) dreams of living the writer's life, expressing myself in the best way I know how. I feel like I have a lot to say and I eventually want some of it out there.
