I live in Bristol, above an Irish bar designed by people who have clearly never been to Ireland. Open mic nights make me happy, hangovers make me sad, and I'm largely indifferent to my own level of individuality. Many years ago I decided to try writing my first short story, and since then I've wrestled the English language into a form of submission. My more successful efforts have included various plays performed in Bristol, one of which made it to the Edinburgh Fringe, and a two year stint as the arts & culture editor of my university newspaper. I like flavoured cigarettes, and absolutely hate long walks on the beach.
