Im 39 mother of three, one of whom was diagnosed with autism in 1996. I attended Northern Kentucky University from 1998-2001. I write because I enjoy it and I write about what I know and what Im passionate about. I have written dozens of social stories and several short stories. I am living the things I write about. I know my subjects. I can help many parents just getting the autism diagnosis. I can help those with little to no money or insurance and increase the potential of their children. I am 1 in 94 mothers who have a son with autism. We are everywhere and with autism on the rise as it is, I dont see us going anywhere anytime soon.
