I grew up in a fairly small town and moved to a fairly small city to pursue the fairly dull things that adults tend to engage in. I've read science fiction my entire life. One of the benefits of being nerdy during junior high school is that you can become very well-acquainted with the masterworks of scifi at the local library at a very young age. In the last few years, I've started writing science fiction short stories.
