I knew I had a gift for writing in elementary school because I loved to diagram sentences. Took some creative writing classes in college and realized that writing was a need for me and best outlet. What I want to do is finish my novel/memoir. Will go on forums to get peoples' opinions about things that have me stumped. Usually work as a graphic artist. Live in Michigan and am unemployed but don't have much hope of ever getting a decent job again. The world is really messed up and it gets to me a lot. I don't act like a "typical" 61-year-old. Most people think I should settle down and do what all the other old people are doing. Write on!
