I am a 43 year old divorced father of 4 kids. I wrote poetry and short stories in High School, but after some trauma in the Navy, I have not written since. After going through a divorce and realizing many things about myself, I have rediscovered my poet's voice. A friend asked me why I am not a writer, and I responded that I did not know. My friends and my family are too biased for critique and this looked a good a place as any to get good feedback.
