After 13 years as a pharmacy tech, a would be photographer, a wanna be writer, I finally reached my limit- quit my job. I'm learning to alter the way I interact with me. Instead of pounding myself senseless after every minor infraction, I'm trying to "do unto me as I would have others do unto me." That includes allowing myself to daydream without guilt, write only when I want to. The photo business I was trying to extricate from my inner soul? It's now a friend I can just be excited with again. No more drudgery! I'm too old to be crashing into walls, bruising my ego. I have about 20-30 years left in my life. I'm going to be kinder to myself.
