I am a retired physician, advocate, and teacher. I've published 5 articles for laypeople and have co-authored 89 communications on medical and scientific topics and on medical ethics. I was educated at Oxford University (BA and MA) and Harvard Medical School, trained on the Harvard medical and neurology services of Boston hospitals, at the NIH, and at UCLA. I was on the faculty at UCLA, LSU Shreveport (VAMC), and, while in private practice, the medical school in Syracuse; and there also did teaching, research, and advocating for good patient care.
