Compared to most obsessions, writing feels pretty positive and healthy. As a child, I read and wrote voraciously. Now it is more of a challenge to fit it around the demands of teaching. My three daughters are grown and lovely, so the excuses are dwindling. When I am not writing, I like to ride motorcycles - unless I am falling off them.
