Born and raised in a dysfunctional family, writing became my way of expressing myself when I needed to vent. After venting, I found that during my teenage years, I was gifted with the writing of poetry. The rhyming would just flow from my pen. In sharing my poetry, others would say, "That explains how I feel." This remark encouraged me to continue sharing with others and even taking on my own subjects of interest to write poetry about. Being able to write in such a way to become personal, without being nasty is what I like most to do. I research the person or subject with questions that lead to the right music persay.
