Writing has always been my canvas and poetry my paintbrush. My muses whisper beautiful colors in my ear and I create them into a masterpiece of my own design. Poetry is my life line, without it, I am nothing. I have a Bachelors in English and a Masters in Arts and Liberal Studies from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. Not only do I write poetry, but dabble occasionally in short fiction, novellas, and memoirs. I am also an artist and my favorite mediums are watercolor and charcoal.
