At the tender age of 54, after a lifetime of working at many jobs that I did not want to do and avoiding the things that I most enjoy, circumstances conspired to finally put me into a position in which writing has become the most logical course of action. I joined this site to be able to grow and learn as a writer and to be able to pursue this craft as my career. It is important to me that I receive feedback in the form of suggestion and advice to improve my writing. I love to hear positive feedback on my writing, don't get me wrong, but I am thick-skinned, so don't be timid about what I should change. I welcome it all, and thank you.
