I am a technical writer in the aerospace industry. Creative writing has always been my passion, though - it's how I express my feelings, and it's very cathartic for me. Being a published writer has always been a dream of mine, but one that has eluded me. Lots of reasons, but I just haven't developed the discipline I need. Not enough fire in the belly - maybe not enough talent. But I'm 61 - if not now, then when? If I want to write, then write. I've run out of excuses. I have many incomplete projects. That's not what I want for myself. I may never get published, but I want to make the best effort I can. If I do that, I'll be satisfied.
