A marlinspike is usually in a knife sheath or an added appendage of a sailor's knife. It is a pointed object that gets to the heart of a knot made fast. That's what I hope to do here with writing and reviewing. Untie knots that need to be unfastened and tie knots to hold fast, the reason for them. Join me in marlinspike seamanship.
