I believe we as humans seek so deeply to be understood, and what better way to be understood than through true writing from the soul? To me writing is about truth and conveying a message or experience. Most of my writing stems from personal experience. I think it is important to know who we are, what we stand for, and what we believe in. Without that we can be lost with no purpose, and without purpose what are we living for?
