I have been trying to be a writer since I was 13. I have ADHD, and find that the FLOOD of writing ideas is hard to control. I currently have 14 (give or take) UNFINISHED pieces of work on my hard drive at this posting. I am also finding other works that I have started...so the number goes up. Poems I can finish...I have 9 of those, 3 which were for my wife. There are girls from my past that have poems as well...one that JUST told me on Facebook that she reads my poem when she's feeling down to boost her spirits. I think that is the most important thing I say about writing. Writing endures! Long after we die, our writing lives on.
