Like many on WDC, I am in the process of attempting to turn a hobby in to a career. With the initial goal of writing a novel, some short stories, and no poems, I have succeeded in writing many poems, a few short stories, and no novels. The topic of my work exhibits the complete lack of direction that I feel any writer experiences at some point. While death remains a prominent factor in anything I write, nature, music, and the beauty of a fleeting world tend to show up equally often. If I had to sum it up in one line I would say "The only emperor is the emperor of ice cream." But apparently someone already took that.
