I’ve never had much luck with creating beautiful strokes with a brush, even less success creating music that sooths the soul. Not for lack of want or attempt, but mostly lack of skill. I truly believe that all the arts are skills and not talent…but it is those that possess talent in their skill, who truly create works of beauty. Be it with the brush, the instrument, the chisel, or the quill. So, here and now I stand to see if I’ve talent within my skill.
