I'm 60. I worked as an engineer aboard ships, traveling the world, most of my life. On March 31st, 2011, I retired. I Like good romantic tales and stories with epic sweep. Favorite writers:Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Steinbeck, Michener, Conrad and Shakespeare; T.S. Eliot, Yeats, Tennyson and Shelly. Favorite hobbies:music, old memories, staying up late, and telling stories. Favorite places: Pacific islands, Asia, the China Sea; Dubai, Barcelona, Majorca, Italy and Crete.
