I am Australian and I’d be thrilled if I could have written the "Great Australian Story", but no, I’ve only written an Australian story. My novel is well-researched and my purpose is to entertain the reader with a compelling tale, but if he/she finds himself/herself a little more knowledgeable about Australian history, then I'd be very happy.
