My "real" job is with a publisher of community guides, produced in print as well as digital media. My writing is currently Op-ed & essays. My poetry has consisted of changing the words to popular songs for birthdays and other occasions, and bad "epic" poetry such as "The Redhead Who Never Read Ahead," an ode to my father on his 70th birthday. After being laid off from a community newspaper I spent 6 years as a copywriter, and made a good and fun living at it.
