I am a lifelong writer who has finally decided to get serious about writing. I was taking Computer Animation classes and noticed that the thing I enjoyed most was creating character back-stories. I would end up with a bio and a story to go with my character, instead of just the back-story. Thinking back over all my classes, I had to admit that the assignments I enjoyed most were those that involved creative writing. I am an artist, and I originally planned to use animation to tell the stories of my sculpted characters. It turns out that I feel stifled by the technical aspects of animation.
