"When you fall on your face, and you will... fall with grace."The above quote is the story of my life. I am a 34 year old female, wife, mother, graduate student, and whatever else you want to call me. My purpose for using Writing.com is to personally address my years of domestic violence within a community of people who have the freedom to choice to care or not care without hurting my emotions and adding to my disappointment. The most effective strategy to overcome traumatic stress is to talk or write about the situation. However, with domestic violence, victims find few participates willing to discuss the events and consequences.
