I began writing in my teens to impress a girl, and I learned two very important things. First: she wasn't interested in me no matter what, and second: I loved to write. I continued to write throughout my high school years and, due to the encouragement of my 11th grade English Lit teacher, began to write for my high school paper and for other publications. Life got in the way, and I put my writing aside, but I am now going to chase my dreams. This is my place to start.
