Stephen Fry once said in an interview, "The things that matter in life are useless. Love is useless. Wine is useless. Art is the love and wine of life: it is the extra, without which life is not worth living." And Steven Brust's character Vlad Taltos, in his novel Tiassa, said, "Any point in a process looks like the process was leading up to it if that's as far as you've gotten." These quotes mean a lot to me now. A single summer course stands between me and a college degree, so the rest of my life lies ahead. My mind shouts at me, "What now?" and I give it a simple answer: now I shall write more, as I once did, and have fun in the process.
