I've been an avid reader since the age of four, when my sister started teaching me. By second grade I was reading adult level books, and shortly after that I started writing. My writing really started to take off after I started reading Terry Pratchett's novels; Pratchett remains my favorite author, due not only to his creativity but to the fluidity of his writing, and I attribute most of my writing skills to the time I spent reading his novels.
