I am a 37 year old male in Colorado, USA. I tend to write dark poetry as that is what I can relate to. I have been bi-polar my entire life and so am comfortable with the "dark side" of human thought. I have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and an honorary Master's degree in Martial Science. I have been in martial arts for 23 years and have been inducted into the martial arts hall of fame twice. I have a terminal heart condition which they say will end my life in about 1 1/2 - 2 years. My poetry is mainly auto-biographical and illustrates many of my feelings about life and circumstances.
