I am an aspiring author—hopefully one day a published one. Used to own a bookstore once upon a time. Now I have a daytime job and a nighttime family & writing time is a little harder to come by. I've written many short stories, and about 5 yrs ago I completed a 1st draft of a novel. Kind of a dramedy with chicklit undertones—too serious to be truly “chicklit”. I've been editing it ever since. I'm seeking motivation to kick me back into gear. Looking forward to the kicking!!
