Writing has been a buried passion for me. In n high school, I really got joy out of writing short stories and completing assignments for English classes. I liked to put a different twist on words to give the sentence or paragraph a different flavor. But, it remained dormant as I pursued a careers in other directions. A few years later, having no idea of requirements, I tried submitting some things to a magazine Opinion column. Unfortunately, I didn't pursue at this time either. Now, at a crossroads in my life, having just been laid off from my job of eight years in an ED, I am ready to try again with a little more determination.
