In high school, I was an avid poet and often wrote poetry too 'vivid' for young readers. I was nominated for 2002 International Poet of the Year, but it went no further as I couldn't go to LA. After high school, I went into the Navy. During bootcamp, I outlined an entire novel in one of the Navy notebooks. I love writing. I love Japanese. I don't love finding myself thinking Japanese while I'm trying to write in English. Though, it's better than thinking in math... -.- I hate x=m+at-COS^n+h.
